Delete Objects when Cropping permanently deletes pixels or objects that are outside the bounding box of a selection when you choose Edit > Crop Document or Modify > Canvas Size.
Expand to Fill Document expands the striped border to surround the entire canvas of a document when you switch to image edit mode, allowing pixel editing within the entire document. When deselected, only the pixels within a selected image object's border is editable.
Open in Image Edit Mode opens image files directly in image edit mode. Deselect to open all files in object mode.
Turn Off "Hide Edges" automatically disables Hide Edges when entering or leaving image edit mode.
